Football coach Kargar stabbed many times by unknown men

KABUL: The national football team’s coach Mohammad Yousef Kargar has sustained injuries in an attack by unknown men near his house in Kabul, said officials on Sunday.
Head of Afghanistan Football Federation’s media office, Sayid Ali Kazimi, said Kargar was hurt when a number of unknown men stabbed him with knife near his house in Kabul. He added that the football coach has sustained injures in his head and waist.
He said Kargar is under treatment in a private hospital and is in serious health condition.
It is said that the unknown men have escaped after attacking the coach. The motive behind the attack in not known yet and no one has been arrested in connection to the incident.
Officials in football federation urge the government to kick off investigation in this regard.
Kargar recently announced a 22-member list of the national squad wherein he invited mostly young players for the team.
