Massive terror bid foiled in Kabul

KABUL: Police thwarted a massive terror bid in Kabul by arresting as many as 17 suspected militants.
Hashmatullah Stankzai, spokesman for Kabul police, said that police in cooperation with NDS operative raided a house in Bagrami district of Kabul, arresting 17 alleged militants.
He added that a suicide bomber blew himself up during the raid. Police also recovered several suicide vests from the house.
There were no causalities to security forces during the operation, Stankzai added.
The Taliban haven’t commented about the arrestments yet.
